Chopped Fresh ginger root or fresh in a jar. (lots here to your taste liking.)
Veggie broth ( use filtered water and veggie bouillon cubes)
black Pepper to taste

Here is how you make Gingered Carrot and Chic Pea Soup:

Steam bag of baby carrots until they are just tender. Meanwhile, saute chopped onions and ginger root in olive oil just until transluscent. Heat up veggie broth as well. Drain can of beans.When carrots are tender, add to food processor or blender in batches with broth and onions and beans/peas. process to a smooth consistency. Mix together and add more broth to desired consistency. You will have creamy yummy soup without adding any cream at all!p.s. I added amounts for ginger root and pepper, but this is to taste. Lots in this case is always better if you like it spicey!
