Here is how you make Autumn Soup:

In large stock pot add broccoli, sweet potatoes, onion, green pepper, bay leaves, and water. Bring to a boil. in a small pan sautee garlic, cumin seeds, turmeric, & cardamon in olive oil until fragrant. Remove from heat and add to soup. Add 2 cups red lentils. Continue to boil slowly, stirring occasionally until sweet potatoes and lentils are done. Right before serving add 1 cup tomato sauce.
