Stir in lentils, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 min.2) Heat oil in a skillet over med/high heat, then saute onions and garlic until onions are clear. Set aside.3) After lentils have simmered for 20 min., add rice and sauted onion and garlic to the sacuepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for another 30-45 minutes.
