1/4 cup Brown Sugar Substitute
1 tbsp Argo Cornstarch
1/4 tsp Ginger, ground
1/4 cup Cider Vinegar
2 tbsp Less Sodium Soy Sauce
1 medium Onion, cut in wedges
1 chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers)
11/2, chopped red sweet pepper
1/2 cup sliced carrot
1 clove Garlic, minced
2 cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 medium tomato, cut into cubes


How Do I Make Sweet and Sour Beans?

Here is how you make Sweet and Sour Beans:

Drain pineapple, reserving juice and set aside. Add water to juice to equal 1/2 cup. In a bowl, combine, brown sugar sub, cornstarch and ginger. Slowly add pineapple juice and stir until smooth, Add vinegar and soy sauce, set aside. In large non-stick skillet, srayed with non-stick cooking spray, brown the onion, peppers and carrot until crisp-tender. Add garlic, fry 1 minute longer. Add the beans, tomato and pineapple. Heat through. Stir the sauce again and slowly add to skillet, bring to a boil cook and stir for 3 minutes or until thickened.
