1 pkg Large Stuffing Mushrooms (about 10)
1 link Al Fresco Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage, crumbled
1 small onion ,finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 TBS Chavri Garlic & Herb Goat Cheese


How Do I Make Goat Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms?

Here is how you make Goat Cheese and Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.Use a damp paper towel to clean mushrooms. (Never wash in water!!)Gently remove stems from mushrooms and set aside.With the rounded sides down, place caps on baking sheet that has been sprayed lightly with non-stick spray.Bake in the oven 12 minutes.While they are cooking, chop mushroom stems, garlic and onion. Saute in a skillet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray until soft (about 3 minutes). Add in sausage and saute together until heated through. Let cool a little.Add the goat cheese to this mixture and mix well.When the caps are done (do NOT shut oven off) and cool enough to handle remove the water that has collected in them and pat dry.
