1 can Red Gold diced tomatoes 1/2 c serving (3.5 in a 14.5 oz can), 3.5 servings
Barley, pearled, cooked, 1 cup
Chicken Breast, no skin, 6 ounces, cooked and diced
2 to 3 tsp Italian seasonings as desired

Here is how you make Chicken Vegetable Soup (1 cup):

Saute the minced garlic and onion in a large pan with the heated olive oil until the onion is translucent. Add the broccoli (frozen or fresh) and cook until just getting tender. Add the bag of Market Blend Steamers, chicken broth, diced tomatoes and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 to 8 min. Stir in cooked barley, diced chicken, and Italian seasoning. Heat through about another 10 min. or so and serve. This made 6 one cup servings and is very hardy with vegetable. You may want to add pepper to taste, but after it sets a while you will not need to add any salt due to the salt in the broth. If you are on a low salt diet you need to get a low salt version of the chicken broth and canned tomatoes.This comes out to about 154 calories per cup. If this is your main meal you may want to eat 1.5 cups to keep you full longer.
