What Are The Ingredients For Vampire Chili Recipe?The ingredients for Vampire Chili are: 1 pound bag dried black beans8 cups water 1 pound ground turkey 1 can diced tomatoes 1 jar fire-roasted salsa (whatever level of heat you prefer) 1 med. onion chopped (or 1/2 cup dried onion) 1/2 cup white cooking wine 2 tbls chili powder 2 tsp sage 1 tsp celery salt 1/2 tsp cumin How Do I Make Vampire Chili?Here is how you make Vampire Chili: Soak the black beans overnight (8-10 hours) in 8 cups of water in a large pot. Drain the soaking water and rinse the beans well. Add in 8 cups of fresh water to the beans and put on the stove on medium low heat. Cook the ground turkey with onion and half of the chili powder and sage powder until no longer pink. Add in turkey to the pot of beans. Add in can of diced tomatoes, jar of salsa, wine, rest of the chili powder, sage, celery salt and cumin. Add more chili powder or fresh chili peppers (first carefully removing the seeds) to taste for more bite. Cook on low medium heat, stirring occasionally for 2.5-3 hours. Makes 6 servings. Serve with an ounce of shredded mozzerella cheese on top.
