In a sauce pan over medium heat saute salt pork till brown and crispy. Remove and set aside. 2. To same saucepan add onion and green pepper, saute till onion is translucent.3. Add 2 cups boiling water and potatos to mixture, cover and simmer til potatos are tender, about 20 minutes.4. Add remaining ingredients (except pork bits) to pan, stir.5.
