2 tbsp olive oil
½ sweet onion, minced
1-2 tsp garlic
1 hamsteak, diced small
2 extra large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 small red pepper deseeded and diced
3 stalks of celery, diced
2 bags of frozen corn
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
2 cans evaporated milk
1 cup half and half


How Do I Make Pink Corn Chowder?

Here is how you make Pink Corn Chowder:

In a 5-quart pot, heat oil and butter on medium heat, until melted. Add onions and cook until translucent. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. Add the potatoes, pepper, celery, ham and enough water to cover. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and add the bouillon cubes. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add the corn and simmer for another 10-15 minutes. Add the 2 cans of evaporated milk and simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the half and half and simmer for another 5 minutes.
