Here is how you make Dumpling:

Put a few cups of water with a dash of salt on to boil, add a bullion cube or two and some seasonings, to taste. This will be the soup broth, so only use as much as you want to drink later.Melt a tbsp of butter or spread in a small cup, then add a tbsp of flour at a time until it's a thick dough, then add a bit of water water and mix until more flour is needed, continuing slowly until all the flour has been used (the last of it to coat the dough ball). Stir and knead with a spoon. Seasonings can also be added to the dumpling itself.Drop dumpling into boiling water and cook, covered, for fifteen minutes. No need to stir.
