2 c shredded cabbage
2/3 c chopped apple
1/2 c shredded carrot
1/4 c chopped green pepper
1 T cooking oil
1 T honey
1 T lemon juice
1/8 t ground ginger


How Do I Make Fruit Slaw?

Here is how you make Fruit Slaw:

Drain pineapple chunks, reserving 2 T juice. Set juice aside. For salad, in a large salad bowl combine pineapple, cabbage, apple, carrot, and green pepper. For dressing, in a screwtop jar combine reserved pineapple juice, oil, honey, lemon juice, ginger or gingerroot, and 1/8 t salt. Cover and shake well to mix. Pour dressing over salad.
