1 tin (85g) of Brunswick Smoked Mussels (in Cottonseed Oil)
1 tbps of pure prepared mustard
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp Hellmann's Mayonnaise
2 dashes black pepper
Hot Sauce (for taste)
Dixie Crackers Snack Pack (for eating with dip)


How Do I Make Homemade Oyster Dip?

Here is how you make Homemade Oyster Dip:

Empty Oysters into a small mixing bowl (drain cottonseed oil if you want to reduce calories/ fat intake). Mash with a fork until a lumpy paste is formed. Cut block of cream cheese into 1/2 inch squares adding and mixing each individually with the oysters (this method makes mixing easier and helps reduce lumps formed by cream cheese). When Oysters and cream cheese have been completely mixed, add vinegar, black pepper, mustard and mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly until the dip has a smooth, slightly liquid texture.
