Heat oil in large soup pot over medium heat. Saute onions, green pepper, garlic and green onions until tender. Add sausage. Saute until browned. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until rice is cooked, about 40 minutes.Makes 8 1/2 c. servings.
