Here is how you make 10 Layer Salad:

Find a large bowl or container as all these ingredients will need to be layered when assembled. Shred the lettuce and layer bottom of the container, add peas as next layer (do not mix layers yet) add green pepper, add hard boiled egg, add celery, add red onion (diced) add water chesnuts, cover all layers with Helmans light mayo ~ a cup and a half. Smooth over top of layers. Sprinkle parm cheese and add bacon bits (low or reduced fat). Cover and put in fridge over night. Mix all layers together right before serving.
