1/2 can (2.5 oz.) tuna in water
1 tsp. brine-cured capers
handful chive flowers, coarsely chopped

Here is how you make Quick Nicoise-Inspired Salad:

Prepare an ice-water bath in a large salad bowl.Bring a pot of water to the boil. Add a bit of salt; add green beans and simmer until tender and bright green, about 5-6 minutes. Remove beans from the water and plunge into the ice water to stop their cooking. After about 30 seconds, dump the beans into a colander to drain.Mix the vinegar, garlic, and dry mustard in the salad bowl. Drizzle the olive oil into this mixture while whisking vigorously. Take the drained green beans and toss them in this dressing; let them rest there while you prepare the rest of the salad. Add the green onion, tomato, and lettuce, and toss to coat. Remove salad to a smaller bowl and top with the capers, tuna, and chive flowers.
