We had some alfredo sauce left over and were afraid it was going to go bad. We love eating the Suddenly Salad pasta salad in the summer and so decided to try our own and my husband put the two together in his head. It is very tasty and you can use any veggies you like. Recipe size is because of what we had on hand. You can probably adjust it with little problem.

The ingredients for Alfredo Pasta Salad are:

5 servings of pasta ( we used Barilla plus rotini)
5 servings of alfredo sauce ( we used Classio garlic alfredo)
1/2 cup chopped sweet peppers (we used a mix of yellow, orange and red)
1 Large scallion or green onion
3/4 cup frozen peas
5 grated baby carrots
1 tsp of caraway seeds
1 tsp dried basil
2 tsp dried dill
You can use any spices you like, these just happen to be our favorites.

Here is how you make Alfredo Pasta Salad:

Put pasta on to boil according to package directions. Chop all veggies into pasta salad size pieces; I do mine absolutely tiny. About 3-4 minutes before your pasta is done, add frozen peas, or cook separately according to package directions. Drain pasta and peas, rinsing with cold water to cool.
