225 grams or about 3 cups (60% of box) of whole grain barilla shells
3 Tbsp Olive oil Mayo (i used Kraft)
1 Tbsp red pepper
2 Tbsp dill weed
.5 Tbsp garlic powder (or to taste)
.25 tsp kosher salt
.25 tsp dried mustard
.25 tsp chili powder


How Do I Make Light Creamy Pasta Salad with a Kick!?

Here is how you make Light Creamy Pasta Salad with a Kick!:

Cook pasta first , I like to add a little garlic powder, chili powder and kosher salt to the pot right at boiling. (I feel it enfuses a nice flavor). For this whole grain pasta I usually don't cook it as long so it's still al dente (about 8 min). Drain pasta, do not rinse. Add mayo and spices : red pepper, dill weed, garlic powder, pinch kosher salt, dried mustard, and chili powder. Refrigerate. Keeps for a couple days. Calories are based on 1/2 cup servings.
