1 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts
1 16 oz bag american (iceberg) salad
1/2 english cucumber, diced
1/2 cup shredded carrots

Here is how you make Carribean Shrimp Salad:

Add first 7 ingredients (through sugar) to a large bowl. Mix well. Add a pinch of salt, or to taste. Add shrimp, tossing to coat. Let sit about 10 minutes to let shrimp absorb the flavors. While you're waiting, chop water chestnuts and cucumbers and shred carrots. Add to bowl along with salad mix.
