Cilantro, dried salt and pepper to taste Juice of 1 lime How Do I Make Spicy Shrimp and Avocado salad?Here is how you make Spicy Shrimp and Avocado salad: Heat olive oil in large skillet. Add diced avocado, salt and pepper and sautee until light brown. Remove avocado with a skimmer and place in bowl - set aside. Pour all but 2 tbsp. of olive oil in a heat safe dish. Leave 2 tbsp. in skillet. Add jalapeno pepper and shallot (if desired) to olive oil in skillet. Sautee until soft and fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink if fresh - heat through if frozen. Remove shrimp, pepper and shallot with skimmer and add to avocado bowl. Add cilantro and chives and toss until coated. To olive oil - dump all of the skillet drippings into olive oil. Add the juice of 1 lime (about 1/4 cup) and whisk. This is your dressing. I calculated the dressing separately and titled it Dressing for Spicy Shrimp and Avocado Salad. 1 serving = 2 tbsp. Put 1/4 of shrimp mixture over romaine lettuce and enjoy.
