Here is how you make Salmon Bisque:

Remove skin and bones from the salmon and flake it. Combine salmon and one large chopped onion in a saucepan, just covering with water. Allow this to simmer until the onions are transparent. Next add one quart of skim milk and heat to the boiling point. Stir in the cornstarch dissolved in a small amount of water, smart balance, salt and pepper. Constantly stir until the soup thickens--- being careful not to allow it to stick. Serve with oyster crackers.
