Purchase beans/lentils- I prefer to buy the mix in the bulk section at Winco, but any type of beans or lentils will do.Cut carrots and onionsBell pepper mix was frozen so take it out of the freezer and use as much as you'd like, I used 1.5 cups.Can be made with chicken broth, bouillon cubes, or just water. I like the mix of the two for flavor, since I didn't add meat to the mix.
