Cook on medium high heat for about 20 minutes. While the ham bone is cooking chop the carrots, celery, potatoes and cabbage (set the cabbage aside). Remove the ham bone from the stock pot. Add the chopped vegetables. Pull the ham from the ham bone and add back into the stock pot. Simmer on low to medium heat for about 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
