Add onions and saute until softened slightly. Add garlic and saute 1-2 minutes more. Add broth, water, celery, carrots, rice, lentils and herbs. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 40 minutes. Add wine and tamari, bring to a boil for 5 minutes then reduce heat and add beans. Heat through, then turn off heat and stir in miso until dissolved.
