Here is how you make Cabbage-Potato and Corned Beef Soup:

In a soup pot heat 1 Tb. oil. Add onions and cook until tender, about 3 minutes. Add cabbage, potatoes, and stock. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Meanwhile, add 1 Tb. oil to small skillet and saute corned beef until crisp. To soup pot add carrots and cream and simmer 10 minutes more. Stir in corned beef.
