1 cup carrots (chopped or julienne)
1 can green beans (cut)
8 oz. cooked roast beef, cut into bite-size pieces
1 cup beef gravy
32 oz. beef broth
6 beef bouillon cubes
6 cups water
1.5 cups barley (quick cook)

Here is how you make Janet's Beef Barley Vegetable Soup:

Saute onion, pepper, and celery in olive oil in large soup pot, until soft. Add beef broth, bouillon, and water then stir in carrots, green beans, beef and gravy. Bring to a boil. Add quick cook barley, cover and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes, stir occasionally.
