15 oz can tomato sauce
15 oz can small lima beans
15 1/4 oz can white corn
1 lb stew beef
2 cups beef stock
1 small head cabbage, cut into 1/4 inch strips
Salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Ot's Vegetable Beef Soup?

Here is how you make Ot's Vegetable Beef Soup:

Cut stew beef into smaller pieces if desired. I usually cut a one inch by one inch cube into 3 smaller pieces. Brown beef slightly in a tablespoon or two of cooking oil. After beef is mostly brown, add other ingredients and simmer on low for 30-40 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to taste. For a little more spice, add some red pepper flakes. You can use less cabbage. I happen to like a lot. You can also use low sodium or salt free on the veggies/tomatoes/broth. I just used "regular" versoins which is why the sodium appears to be high.
