Here is how you make Cream of Broccoli Soup IV:

Steam about 4 cups of chopped fresh broccoli in the microwave. (Put raw broccoli in a microwave-safe dish, cover with Saran Wrap, leaving a corner loose so the dish can vent. Microwave about 6 minutes, or until broccoli is tender. BE CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING THE SARAN WRAP! Lots of steam will escape and you could seriously burn yourself! Trust me, I speak from experience! You want to have 2 1/2 cups of broccoli after it's been steamed.)In a food processor, puree 1 1/2 cup steamed broccoli, garlic, and 1/4 cup chicken broth. (NOTE: I used roasted garlic cloves, not raw garlic. Pluck off 5 cloves of garlic (do not peel), brush with olive oil and roast in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until tender.)In a stock pot over medium heat, saute onions for a minute or two (before they start to burn). Melt the Buttery Spread. Add the flour, and whisk until mixture thickens and starts to brown. Slowly add remaining 1 cup chicken broth and milk, stirring often. Allow mixture to thicken, about 5 minutes. Then add the pureed broccoli mixture and the remaining 1 cup steamed broccoli. Heat through, and allow to thicken for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
