Here is how you make Velvety Broccoli Soup:

In a dutch oven, saute chopped onions in olive oil until translucent. Add salt, pepper, and flour, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Gradually stir in chicken broth, then add broccoli and bring to boil. Cover and simmer on lower heat until broccoli is tender.Place mixture in a blender or food processor, processing until pureed (1 or 2 blasts should do it). Return to dutch oven, add milk; heat until mixture begins to boil. Ladle soup into oven-proof bowls and top with grated parmesan cheese.
