Here is how you make Ham and Cauliflower Soup:

Melt margarine in pot. add onions and garlic; cook till tender. Add water, broth, cauliflower and potatoes. Bring to a boil then reduce heat. Simmer till tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in ham, 1/2 cup of milk, chives, white pepper and Nutmeg.
