1 cup green pepper diced or chopped
1/2 chopped yellow onion
1 cup white potatos peeled and cubed
1 jalepeno diced OR 1/2tsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 small carrot shredded (Optional)
1/4tsp sea salt

1lb lean ground turkey cooked and drained
16 slices low sodium turkey bacon crisped and crumbled 2 1/2c Low Fat milk
1 24ct pack sliced Kraft 2% Skim American Cheese or another low fat american cheese that melts easily

Here is how you make Cheeseburger Soup (with a healthy twist):

1. Put first 9 ingredients in large pot and bring to a boil for 3-5min and then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20min or until potatos are soft 2. Put in cooked and drained turkey and 2 1/2c milk and bring to a boil for 2min and reduce heat 3. Put in cheese piece by piece (or cube by cube depending on what you went with) and stir until melted. Then bring to boil for 1min. 4. Reduce heat and put in bacon crisps (salt and pepper to taste)Each serving is about 2/3 cup and the recipe makes roughly 10 servings.Your soup is ready to enjoy!
