What Are The Ingredients For Bog Soup Recipe?The ingredients for Bog Soup are: 350 grams ground pork and beef mix2 cloves garlic minced 1/2 medium onion, chopped 1/2 medium onion, sliced into chunks 4 medium potatoes, cut into spoon size chunks 1/4 pumpkin (Japanese), cut into spoon size chunks.*substitute sweet potato or acorn squash if you can't find pumpkin 110 grams red kidney beans 1 head broccoli 1/2 (about 5 inches) daikon, cut into small chunks 10 baby carrots, chopped into 4 or 5 pieces per carrot 1/4 head cabbage or cookable green (I used chingen) 1 cup of chopped mushrooms (whatever you feel like) 1 can chicken broth 4 cups water 1/2 cup mirin 1 tsp rosemary 1 tsp oregano 1 1/2 tsps pepper 1 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce 1 tbsp soy sauce How Do I Make Bog Soup?Here is how you make Bog Soup: 1. Brown the beef and pork with the garlic and the chopped onions. Drain well.2. Over low to medium heat, add in the pumpkin, potato, daikon, and carrot. Mix well. 3. Add 3 cups of water, the chicken broth, the mirin, oregano, rosemary and pepper. Let simmer until potatoes are soft.4. Add in the mushrooms, broccoli, remaining onion, cabbage and kidney beans. Stir well. Also add in the soy sauce, and the Thai sweet chili sauce. Add more water if necessary.5. Taste. If not too taste, add more mirin, pepper, or chili sauce. 6. Enjoy. Serves about 5 generous portions.
