Then take all the ingredients except the water and throw it into a pot. I add the water last just in case my measurements are off, so it really depends on you and how much water you want to put. Cook for one hour on medium heat. Mine takes a bit longer because I let it simmer in a Crockpot for about 4 hours so everything absorbs well and is all yummy. I don't think it's necessary really, I think it's just me.One side note, you can always put less Tony's in there to start and adjust to your own taste. If you're sodium conscious, I would definitely consider less of this stuff. There is also a salt-free version of Tony's seasoning out there, if you can find it. Occasionally I'll substitute and use half regular, half salt-free. Just give it time to simmer before you taste-test.It makes about 10 or 11 servings if you go over the 1 cup mark like I do.
