2 T. butter or margarine
2 T. flour
2 1/2 C. water
1 T. instant vegetable boullion
3/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/2 C. heavy cream
1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese

Here is how you make Cream of Broccoi Soup:

Heat 2 cups of water in a 3 quart saucepan. Add broccoli, celery and onion. Cover and heat til it boils. Cook until tender (about 10 minutes); do not drain. Place broccoli in a food processor or blender and blend until uniform consistancy.Heat butter in a 3 quart saucepan over a low heat until melted. Stir in flour. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in 2 1/2C. water. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in broccoli mixture, boullion, salt and pepper. Heat just to boiling. Stir in cream; heat but do not boil. Stir in grated cheese.Serving Size:?8
