Here is how you make Cream of Carrot-Cheddar Soup:

Saute onion in melted butter in a large stock pot. Add carrots, potatoes, broth, thyme, bay leaf, tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt & pepper. Simmer till vegetables are tender.
