Here is how you make Creamy Butternut Soup:

Bake or roast squash, apple and onion. When tender, measure the squash and place it into a large saucepan with 2 cups of the vegetable broth and the cooked apple and onion. Add the spices and simmer until the vegetables & fruit are very tender. Using an immersion blender, puree the soup until smooth. Add the cream cheese and blend again. Add the rest of the vegetable broth if soup is too thick.
