Here is how you make Creamy Fresh Asparagus Soup:

cut off tips of asparagus ,set aside. Chop the remaining asparagus ,chop onion.Melt butter in skillet over medium heat ,add onion and asparagus ,cook until onion is soft and translucent ,about 8 - 10 min.Sprinkle with the flour continue to cook on low heat another 8 minutes while stirring, slowly add the water while stirring, cook until thickened. Let cool a bit then pour into blender / food processor and puree while adding the milk slowly blend until smooth.Heat the soup up again and add the spices and tamari,do not let it boil.
