1 Large onion chopped
1 Cup Grated Carrots
3 Cloves of Garlic
3 Bay Leaves
2 TB Lemon Juice
2 TB Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Flour
1 Tsp Pepper
1 Tsp Salt


How Do I Make Thick N' Creamy Onion Soup?

Here is how you make Thick N' Creamy Onion Soup:

Add Olive oil to large pot. Chop onion and mince garlic and add to pot. Cook over medium high heat until onions are translucent. Add flour to onion, garlic and olive oil, stir and cook for about 2 minutes to form a paste. Add chicken broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Add milk and grated carrots and lemon juice, simmer for another 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste Discard Bay leaves. *Optional, Add 1 ounce shredded cheddar cheese to each serving.
