Frozen okra, 16 oz.
Green bell pepper, diced, 1 cup
Vidalia onion, diced, 1 cup
Garlic, chopped, 2 teaspoons
Whole peeled, tomatoes, 1 large can or 2 small cans
White rice, uncooked, 1 cup
Frozen uncooked shrimp, 8 oz.
Chili powder, 2 teaspoons (or to taste)
Salt and pepper to your taste

Here is how you make Creole Soup:

Brown the ground turkey in a nonstick pan. Add diced onion, green pepper, and garlic. Cover with 8 cups of hot water. Add in the frozen okra and 1 cup of white rice. Add chili powder and other seasonings to your taste. During the last 15 minutes of cooking, add in the shrimp. Ready to serve once the shrimp have turned pink. You kmay want to add a squeeze of lemon or lime to your bowl.
