1.5 Onions, diced
2-3 medium Carrots, diced
1-2 Bell Peppers, diced (I use green and red)
4 stalks Celery, chopped
1 can cut Green Beans, no salt added
1 can Garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
2 Hot links (or Keilbasa), diced
1 small can Tomato sauce + 4-5 small cans Water
1 Beef bullion cube
Italian seasoning to taste
Garlic Powder to taste
Cracked Pepper to taste
Paprika to taste

Here is how you make Easy and Tasty Cabbage Soup:

Add all vegetables to a large pot, including the green beans and chickpeas juices. Add in the tomato sauce, bullion cube, and water. If it looks like there isn't a whole lot of liquid for the mound of veggies, keep in mind the cabbage with reduce down quite a bit. However, if you like your soup with more broth, make sure to cover the vegetables with liquid (water, tomato juice or broth).Bring the pot to a boil, add in your seasonings and give the mixture a stir. You may have to keep an eye on it and stir occasionally at first until the cabbage reduces down (this makes a LOT of soup).Reduce the pot to a simmer after adding in your seasonings to taste and let it cook until vegetables are tender, stirring on occasion, about 30-45 minutes. The longer this cooks the better the flavors blend. Enjoy!This makes 10 to 12, 1-cup servings, but since it's so low in fat and calories I usually have a 2-cup serving at a time.
