How Do I Make Pressure Cooker Lentil Soup with Kale (no added fat)?

Here is how you make Pressure Cooker Lentil Soup with Kale (no added fat):

Throw everything into the pressure cooker except for the spices and salt. You can add anything you like, really. Alton Brown added celery but I omitted that, some people would prefer adding garlic or other aromatics. If you don't care for kale, feel free to omit that--I tend to love it especially in soups, when it takes on the consistency of spinach. If needed, add water up to the max volume for beans in your pressure cooker (I have a line on the inside of my pressure cooker).Cover and heat on high until the rocker goes wild, then lower the heat until the rocker is gently rocking and cook for 20 minutes.Quick release the pressure and add the spices before serving.Serving Size: Makes 8 servings approx 1 cup eachNumber of Servings: 8Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user CAMYTANG.
