Form into walnut-sized meatballs and place in a large soup pot. Cover with broth (add water if necessary to make sure meatballs are covered) and bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, using a hand mixer or blender, whip raw egg into a light froth. With blender or mixer running, stream lemon juice in.
