Here is how you make Home Made Split Pea and Lentil Soup:

Peel and roughly chop the onionPut all ingredients & water in a pressure cooker & siir Place lid on cooker and bring up to full pressure on the cooker hob. (about 5 mins or so) Then turn the gas/electric down. Cook it at full Pressure for about 10-15 mins. Release pressure quickly. This recipe should work in a normal saucepan, but will prob take a couple of hours or so for the split peas to cook. Pre soaking will help cook them a little softer.Allow to cool a little then ladle into bowls according to serving size. Makes 3 x 143cal servings or 2 x 214cal servings.
