75 grams, small pasta shapes, or spaghetti broken into 1 inch pieces

1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese, grated

Heat the oil in a large saucepan and add the garlic, onion, and thyme and fry for 3 minutes, stirring all the time until soft but not brown.Add the bacon, carrots, leeks, turnips, red peppers, and chopped tomatoes (including the juice from the cans) to the pan and cook over a medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the vegetables are soft.Add the tomato puree, cabbage, fine beans, and cannellini beans, and then stir well.Slowly stir in the vegetable stock, quick soup mix and pasta shapes, add a dash of salt and pepper, then bring to the boil, lower the heat, and simmer for about 35 minutes.Sprinkle some parmesan cheese over the top serve and enjoy!
