In deep pot heat oil, carrots, celery, onion, and bay leaves. Add salt and pepper. Cover and cook veggies 5-6 mins. While veggies cook combine meat, egg, garlic, chees, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper form into bite size meatballs. Uncover veggies add broth and water. Increase heat, bring to a boil, then reduce heat slightly. Add meatballs and pasta. Simmer 10 minutes.
