Add the chopped vegetables and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for 5-7 minutes.2. Add the chick peas and cannellini beans, stir well to mix, and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in the pureed tomato and water. Cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.3. Add 2 cups of the stock, the rosemary, and salt and pepper to taste, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1 hours. 4. Pour in the remaining stock, add the pasta, and bring to a boil.
