1 green pepper, cut in small strips
1 garlic clove, minced
1 28 oz can of diced/chopped tomatoes, with liquid
2 to 2 1/2 cups uncooked whole wheat pasta
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp salt
6 cups water


How Do I Make Pasta-Sausage Soup?

Here is how you make Pasta-Sausage Soup:

Remove casing from sausage and cut into small pieces. In a stock pot, brown sausage over medium heat. Remove sausage to paper towels to drain. Remove all but 2 tbsp drippings.Saute the onion, peppers and garlic for 3 minutes or until tender. Add sausage, 6 cups of water, tomatoes, pasta, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon cubes, basil, thyme and salt.
