Here is how you make SCD Split Pea Soup:

Place the peas and 6 cups of broth/water in a large pot and cook over high heat. Bring to a boil, lower heat and partially cover.Meanwhile, chop onions and carrot and saute in coconut oil until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and rosemary and saute for another 5 minutes.Add onion mixture to peas. Simmer for another 40 minutes or so, until peas are mushy and falling apart.
