1/2 cup white zinfandel wine

Here is how you make Peach Soup, Chilled:

1. Bring a pot of water to boil. Make a small x cut in the bottom of the peaches (to ease removal of skin) and place in boiling water for 1 minute. Remove peaches from boiling water and after cooling for a minute or long enough to handle, rub peaches with fingers to remove skin or use knife if they are stubborn. 2. Cut the peaches in chunks off of the stone and place in another pan in which both the sugar and the 1 cup of water has been brought to a gentle boil. Simmer 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.4. Puree in blender.5. Add wine and lemon zest and chill well.6.
