7 cups potatoes- diced
1 cup carrots
1 medium onion
9 slices of turkey bacon (3 go in the soup)
6 cups fat free- less sodium chicken broth
1 oz per cup of soup
1 tsp cayenne pepper
3 cloves of garlic chopped
salt and pepper to taste


How Do I Make Diet Potato Soup?

Here is how you make Diet Potato Soup:

cook all bacon but 3 slices in pan- take out and set aside to eat later on top of soupcut all veggies, toss carrots and onion and garlic in the pan with a spray or two of pam. Cook until the onions are transparent. Add all the chicken broth, potatoes and turkey bacon and if you need water add to cover the top of the potatoes. Finally after about 5 minutes cooking add the cayenne pepper and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until the potatoes and carrots are done about 20ish minutes.
