Warm oven to 350 degrees. Cut squash in 1/2, remove seeds, salt and pepper squash. Place on baking sheet, open side down and bake until soft (approx. 30 min). Remove from oven and set aside.In a stock pot sautee onion. Once it onions start to soften add garlic and sautee. Spoon meat out of squash and add to onion and garlic. Stir to combine. Add 1 cup of chicken broth. Stir to mix. Add nutmeg, cinnamon, cayenne and cloves. Stir to combine. Add brown sugar to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.Pour soup into blender (or use emersion blender). Blend until smooth. Add remaining stock to desired consistency.
